Kuyichi’s Social Report of the year 2024
Why Kuyichi publishes a Social Report
In this social report, we hope to give you a clear insight into our role in the fashion industry, with a focus on social impact. The report is built on the due diligence cycle, ensuring transparency in the process of how we work on improving working conditions in our supply chain.Â
The fashion industry is making progress, but there's still work to be done. Kuyichi is committed to continuous improvement, creating opportunities for both our suppliers and Kuyichi. Much of our work happens behind the scenes in collaboration with suppliers, and we believe it’s important for you, as a consumer, to get a peek behind the scenes. As we believe that only an informed consumer can make a conscious choice.

We’re not legally obliged to do so. Still, we believe it’s essential to share this with you. It allows us to show you our social impact more clearly and demonstrate how we’re constantly working to improve. By doing so, we hope to set an example for the rest of the industry.

Our social report is built on the OECD’s due diligence framework – an international guideline that promotes responsible practices throughout supply chains. We also follow other standards set by independent third parties. One example is the Fair Wear guidelines. We’ve been a proud member of Fair Wear since 2019, working together towards fairness and justice for garment workers. We’ve also collaborated with the Responsible Contracting Project and the Common Framework of Responsible Purchasing Practices.

Transparency has always been one of our core values. For years, we’ve shared who our suppliers are, where our materials come from and where everything is made. We’ve been publishing our social report for over ten years now – and we’re proud to keep doing so.
