Why no pair of jeans is ever exactly the same
Every jeans is made from Human craftsmanshipÂ
Have you ever considered how many people handle your jeans before you buy them? A large part of the production process is done by hand. From picking the cotton and sewing seams to applying finishing touches, human hands are involved at every step. And people are not robots, thankfully, so differences can occur. Besides, there are a lot of machines involved that have to be tweaked and set up in the right way. The right tension on a sewing machine or the right temperature and time in a washing machine can affect the final result.Â
Washes change the fit
Did you know that a wash affects the fit of your jeans? After it is sewn together, jeans are washed to create a specific look, like a rinse wash or a worn-in aesthetic. These treatments can shrink or loosen the fabric, causing slight differences in fit. That’s why even jeans in the same size can feel different, depending on the wash and fabric combination.  In the production process, our suppliers test shrinkage and do tests before production to account for these differences. However, this is always a prediction, so still, differences may occur.

No pair of jeans is exactly the same, even within the same size and model. Every pair of jeans is slightly different due to human craftsmanship. In the same model, variations in fabric, texture, stretch, and wash can alter the way it fits to your body.

Ideally, neither. Rigid jeans can feel slightly tight at first, but it shouldn’t be uncomfortable. Stretch jeans should not be too tight, or the elastane may wear out faster. For the best fit, use our sizing tool or try them at a retailer.

There’s no one-size-fits-all, but jeans with a bit of stretch adapt better to your body. Rigid denim is stiffer and moves less with your body. Need help? Visit one of the retailers for some fit advice.
