Stop Black Friday!

It might not surprise you that Black Friday is not our thing. We do not participate in sales for valid reasons. Discounting degrades the value of our clothing and encourages fast-consuming behaviour. Buying without thinking. We want to speak out against this system that arouses dissatisfaction and is not making us any happier in the long run. On top of that, fast-consuming behaviour has a giant impact on both the environment and the lives of the people who make our clothes.

This Black Friday, we looked a little closer to home. Due to the Corona crisis, more and more people knock on the door of our food banks. The pandemic has pushed more families over the poverty edge. Meanwhile, the food banks are experiencing shortages and can barely support their current demand. To replenish their low stocks, they need any help they can get.
