In 2001, we created our very first jeans: the K100. A jeans ahead of its time and the starting point of our journey in disruptive denim.
A quarter of a century later, we introduce the K25. A limited edition replica of the original K100, recreated with 25 years of learnings. Same fit. Same details. Made to celebrate the past and shape the future.

What makes the K25 fabric different?
The K25 is crafted from 100% regenerative cotton and premium selvedge denim, woven in Italy by Candiani. The fabric combines two of Candiani’s patented technologies: Kitotex® and Indigo Juice®.

Regenerative Cotton
Grown on farms certified to the regenagri standard, which audits farming practices for soil health, biodiversity, water management and carbon sequestration.
Kitotex® by Candiani
Kitotex® replaces the conventional petroleum-derived sizing agent PVA with chitosan, a bio-based alternative.
Indigo Juice® by Candiani
Indigo Juice® concentrates the indigo on the surface of the yarn instead of the core. This is what gives the K25 its deep raw shade and determines how it will fade with wear.
Woven in Italy by Candiani
This premium selvedge denim is woven by Candiani Denim in Italy – a mill with over 80 years of denim weaving expertise.

Only 250 K25 jeans will be made. Each pair is individually numbered and comes with an undyed laundry bag made from 100% organic cotton.

The K25 is a limited edition of 250 numbered pairs, released to mark 25 years of Kuyichi. It is a replica of the K100, the very first jeans Kuyichi made in 2001.
Each pair of the K25 is individually numbered from 001 to 250, ten times 25, marking 25 years since Kuyichi's first jeans, the K100, in 2001. It's also a genuinely exclusive product: the care and craftsmanship behind it come through best in a small run, not a large one.
The K25 is woven in Italy by Candiani Denim from 100% Regenagri-certified regenerative cotton, using Candiani's Kitotex® and Indigo Juice® technologies.
The K25 is available for pre-order now. It's available for pick-up at de Rode Winkel Utrecht on the 18th of September, or shipped on the 21st of September from the Kuyichi HQ.
