The K25 is an authentic heritage fit, based on the very first Kuyichi jeans: the K100 from 2001. The silhouette is inspired by the early 20th-century waist overalls worn by American miners, ranchers and railroad workers.

The high-rise waist, relaxed top block and roomy straight leg give the K25 its characteristic, laid-back silhouette. At the back, the jeans feature an adjustable cinchback: an iconic pre-war detail from the era before belt loops became standard.

What began as functional workwear grew into a cultural icon. Western legends like John Wayne brought denim to the big screen, after which Marlon Brando and James Dean turned the high-waisted, straight-leg jeans into a symbol of freedom, individuality and rebellion in the 1950s.

For this anniversary edition, we chose 100% regenerative cotton selvedge denim, woven by Italian denim mill Candiani. The dry denim is produced using Candiani’s Indigo Juice® dyeing technique and Kitotex® technology. Together, these innovations give the fabric its deep indigo look and authentic denim character.

The K25 brings the origins of denim together with an important chapter in our own history. A true classic, relaunched for 25 years of Kuyichi.

The denim for these jeans is woven at Candiani, a GOTS-certified European denim mill in Italy. The fabric is then cut, sewn, washed and finished at a factory in Tunisia, which we’ve worked with since 2025. The factory is monitored through Fair Wear Foundation, an independent organisation monitoring labour standards, wages, working hours, health and safety, and freedom of association.

Delivery in the Benelux and Germany takes place within 1–5 working days. Deliveries in the Benelux take place Monday to Saturday. For other countries/regions, delivery may take longer, but no more than 10 days.
