Our Quality Guarantee
Our take on longevity
We believe the most sustainable piece of clothing is the one you actually wear. For years. Decades, even. That's why we design timeless styles with high-quality fabrics, durable stitching, and finishes that only get better with age.
But longevity isn't just about how we make things. It's also about what happens after you buy them. That's where our quality guarantee comes in.
Repair first
If something goes wrong with your Kuyichi item - a loose rivet, a stitch that's come undone, or any other manufacturing issue - we'll make it right. Our first choice is always repair. Why? Because fixing what exists is always more sustainable than replacing it with something new.
Just reach out to our customer service team. If the issue falls under our quality guarantee, and is purchased within a reasonable timeframe, we'll cover the repair costs. Contact us first to align on this. After that, you can take your item to a local tailor, and we'll reimburse you. Simple as that.
If repair isn't possible, we'll replace your item. Because we stand behind what we make.
Your part in the story
Keeping your clothes in great shape is something we do together. We make it well. You take care of it.
The way you wash, dry, and store your clothes makes a real difference. A few small habits can add years to your favourite pieces. That's why we've created a care guide to help you get the most out of your Kuyichi items. Check it out here.
Wear, don't worry
Let's talk about wear and tear. Especially with denim, some wear is not just normal, it's beautiful. Those faded knees, whiskers around the pockets, subtle creases that show how you move. That's your story written into the fabric.
With dry denim, this is the whole point. The deep indigo fades where it's meant to, creating patterns that are uniquely yours. But even with pre-washed denim, character develops over time. Those marks aren't damage. They're proof that you've actually lived in your jeans.
Of course, sometimes wear goes too far. A hole appears. A seam gives way. When that happens we've still got options for you.
When wear becomes repair
We've partnered with MENDED to make repairs easy. Whether you've snagged your jeans on something, worn through the knees, or had an unfortunate encounter with your bike chain, MENDED can help.
Here's how it works: you book and pay for your repair online, send in your item, and within 10 days, it comes back looking as good as new. As a thank-you for choosing repair, you'll receive a €10 voucher for your next Kuyichi purchase.
It's repair made simple. Because keeping your clothes in play shouldn't be complicated.
The bottom line
Our clothes are made to last. If they don't live up to that promise, we take responsibility. And when life happens - because it will - we make it easy to keep your favourites in use.
That's what good denim brands do.

We cover repair costs for manufacturing issues such as a loose rivet, broken zipper, stitching that comes undone, or buttons that fall off without cause. If your item was purchased within a reasonable timeframe and the issue is a production fault, we've got you covered. Important: always contact our customer service team first before arranging any repair. We need to assess whether your issue falls under our quality guarantee and give you the green light before you visit a tailor.
-
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or issues caused by improper care aren't covered. Think: holes from snagging on something, worn through knees from years of love, damage from washing at high temperatures, or that unfortunate bike chain incident. These things happen, they're just not manufacturing faults. For these repairs, check out our partnership with MENDED.
-
Always contact our customer service team first. Explain the issue and send a photo if you can. We'll assess whether it falls under our guarantee. Only after we confirm that it does should you take your item to a local tailor. Once repaired, send us the receipt and we'll reimburse you. If repair isn't possible, we'll replace your item. Please note: if you arrange a repair without contacting us first, we cannot guarantee reimbursement.
-
We don't set a strict deadline, because quality issues can show up at different times. But if your jeans are five years old and heavily worn, that's probably wear and tear rather than a manufacturing fault. When in doubt, reach out and we'll always be fair.

Contact us first. We'll assess what's what and find a fair solution. If there's a genuine production fault, we'll address that part.

Nope, that's denim doing its thing. Fading, whiskers, and wear patterns are part of the beauty of jeans, especially with dry denim. It means you're actually wearing them, which is exactly the point. If you're unsure whether something is normal wear or a fault, just contact us and we'll help you figure it out.
